Ishaan Arora

My name is Ishaan Arora and I am a student from Year 12, studying at The British School, New Delhi. My academic interests lie in the fields of macro-economics, international development, and computer science. Outside of the world of education, I am an avid guitarist and am fond of cricket. 

Low legal literacy and lack of legal access in India are prevalent issues that I take a special interest towards. I feel it is imperative to address the issues that arise due to a lack of awareness of one’s own rights; issues that could easily be eliminated through basic education. Legalese allows me to ensure these issues are combatted and even people with low income who are unable to access legal services of great quality have basic knowledge of their rights and privileges. Ultimately, education, legal or otherwise, is vital in the growth of a community.
